Charlie  > Travel > New York
I went on a 3 day trip to New York city with my good friends Frank and Eric. A little dull and dreary on the drive down but the sun came out on our way home. This was my first time to the Big Apple, my goodness what a chaotic bustling concrete jungle.

Charlie > The Empire State Building and Manhatten is a blur as a I shoot through the window of our shuttle bus headed for the Lincoln tunnel. There's thousands of cars/vans/trucks with us going to the Big Apple.
Charlie > I jumped at the chance to visit New York for 3 days. Wow, what energy!
A view from Times Square...
Charlie > Ok, so this is the spot where our hotel's shuttle bus dropped us off somewhere downtown in New York City. Have you ever found youself in that place, where you ask, "Where the 'h', 'e', double hockey sticks do I go from here?"
Charlie > looking through a plate glass window at three photographers looking at their cameras...
My flipped siggy trick pokes fun at the photo doesn't it? All the glass surfaces reflecting different and competing images makes the whole picture just a crash of image noise, very apropos for a photo taken just off Times Square. Those photogs preoccupied with checking out their digi cams seem to reflect the way of the world. You know how we've become more focused on image rather than on reality. Maybe, we've got things all mixed up, convoluted and back wards?
..you can see into the bar/resteraunt, you can see the stair case, you can see the inside of the awning on the other side of this corner bar, you can see layer upon layer upon layer upon layer of images..
Charlie > I used to be a Letterman fan... so I snapped this pic.
You know it's funny how something can bug you about a photo... Like this girl, doesn't it look like she's got her shoes on the wrong feet?
Charlie > My friend Eric was good enough to bring a bright red back pack to New York.
Charlie > My Christian brothers Frank and Eric take note of something in New York. Just at the south/west corner of Central Park.
Charlie > I didn't get to explore the below ground world of the subways...But this is how'd you get there.
Charlie > It's only 2 PM... Just off Central Park, a shoe shop worker sleeps in his window..(Too much enchantment?)
